The 33rd Irish Backgammon Open

The BFI is proud to present the 33rd Irish Backgammon Open - returning to its usual venue in Dun Laoghaire in South County Dublin. This is the longest-running and most prestigious tournament in the Irish backgammon calendar and is open to participation by players of any level of ability.
Format
The format of this year’s Main tournament is expanding to accommodate 80 players. It will be based on a Swiss system (adjusted to accommodate 80 players).
Consolation and Last Chance knock outs will take place on Sunday.
Warm up events on Friday nights
Other side events to be announced closer to the time.
Tickets
Tickets cost 60 Euro (plus Eventbrite fee of approximately 5 euro).
